My life would be different in the past because me and my family watch TV all the time we would NOT be able to do that because there was no electricity. Also we use the computer all the time for my dads work and paper but that wouldn't have worked in the past because there wasn't that much paper either. The government has changed a lot over time. In the middle ages the women weren't allowed to vote and nothing was really debated. Nobody really just takes a whole day off or gets told to go to the fair to have fun. People usually go to the fair and have fries and ride rides and maybe watch the horses race. But the fair in medieval ages we all cooked the whole day before and had everything planned out for the kids and the had to enter to play.

Medieval Event

This weekend we had a medieval event. The whole town was there we cooked and had horse rides for the kids and we had other events that the townspeople enjoy. We decided that we were going to do it in the middle of town that's the biggest place and it worked out well. We decided to have this event because we had all worked hard and earned a little bit of extra coins so we all chipped in and we all thought that we deserved it. My family and I went to the event because we were part of the planning party so we wanted to see how it all pulled together and because we wanted to visit with friends. I thought that it was a great idea we all still are ranting and raving about it because we have never done something like that before. Now we plan to do this every year and people are very glad to hear that. We pulled together as a town and people like that so we decided that more often would be better. Also it was more pleasant to be around people we were all getting along and everyone was having a great time.

Culture

In my community I have a lot of different people most of which I do not have conversation with but I do get along with them the people that I spend my social life with are other midwifes and mothers to be. Although when I am at my own home I don't have a social life I eat. Usually I eat bread and drink wine but other times I go and get some meat from the market and that suits me for a few days then I go out and by something else that I am in the mood for and that I can afford. When I am at home I look out my window (while I am eating) and I see nothing but farmlands. It is a very peaceful sight except for when I catch the morning turn out then there is nothing but animals all through the street just roaming free. I love it where I live.

Laws

The type of government in my country is feudalism. There are many laws her one with which I agree with and one that I disagree with. I think that the marriage laws are a good thing I think it is good that your not forced to stay with someone forever. I think that you should but if something goes wrong you have another possibility. A law that I highly disagree with is the way that they charge people guilty. They make them carry burning hot items and after a while if those burns blister then they are guilty. Sometimes there can be conflict though with the government and the towns people they disagree the way that they treat some people. There have been some conflicts but we are starting to resolve them.
